DESCRIPTION: Fibrillarin is found in small nuclear ribonucleoprotein particles (snRNP) of the nucleolus suggesting a role in the maintenance, structure, function, assembly or processing of tRNA and/or rRNA. This protein is highly conserved and this antibody is capable of detecting fibrillarin from diverse sources such as mammals, Drosophila, C. elegans, yeast and plants.
